Some of the greatest moments in parenthood, I find, is when you’re out of your child’s line of sight and he’s going about some business of his own, lost in his own meditative world of discovery and creative play. When you can overhear him talking to himself, and playing the parts of several fictitous character-toys all at once. That’s a great feeling, mainly because you know you’ve brought him here, to a place where he feels secure enough to venture out on his own, and secure enough so as to emerge himself in what he’s doing.
Nice trip up here, never can tell if it’ll be the last though… Dad brought out the tractor and we got in the wagon and went along for the ride cross the grounds. V took some pictures. A nice time.
